  • Mr. Tips greets shoppers and merchants of Oromocto Mall during Oromocto/Gagetown Crime Stoppers' Jail-a-Thon on January 14 & 15, 2011, in support of Crime Stoppers Month.<br />

Several members take turns as Mr. Tips while other members man the promotions table. Meanwhile, coordinators make the arrests which are the result of mock arrest-warrants.
  • Oromocto/Gagetown Crime Stoppers members were busy promoting Crime Stoppers Month in the Oromocto Mall January 14-15, 2011. This year the Oromocto/Gagetown chapter was once again given permission to spend two days in the mall promoting their chapter and the N.B. Crime Stoppers program. This included passing out brochures and lots of other free items to children and adults alike. The chapter also used their jail which is a great crowd pleaser and never fails to promote participation and good fun with shoppers as well as merchants and their employees.<br />

The program won three productivity awards: Greatest Increase in Arrests (for communities 400,001 - 750,000 population); Greatest Increase in Total Property Recovered (for communities 400,001 - 750,000 population); and Best Print Public Service Announcement.
